A commitment to training and development

We have many staff training opportunities throughout the year, the majority of these take place either in the evening or weekend to ensure that staff team are available to care and develop for the children.  As the vast majority of our staff members are both women and have families of their own, this is an accolade to their commitment to their work.

As part of our commitment to providing constant improvements, we have five training days throughout the year when all staff can work together and develop. This gives us and them an opportunity to bring their practical skills up to date (with Fire Training, Food Hygiene, First Aid and other certificates that need to be constantly renewed) as well as opportunities to review and renew their environments, work practices and also train on all kinds of other areas from brain development to creative ideas.

We have tried to make these days ‘fit' with both bank and school holidays to inconvenience parents as little as possible.

We are also keen to give parents as much notice as possible and the dates for the next year are
